Floor surfaces are pretty durable but using the correct cleaning products can prolong their beauty.
When cleaning wood laminate or wood floors use cleaning products that clean and disinfect but don't add any water to the floor's surface. Products like Bona are perfect for these floors. Combine Bona with a micro fiber floor mop and the job is actually easy. Always vacuum floor surfaces before cleaning them.
When cleaning tile or natural stone make a bucket full of warm water, 1/4 cup of rubbing alcohol, and a couple drops of Dawn Soap. This combination makes a neutral solution that is best for stone floors. Make sure your mop is clean. I recommend a mop that is a cotton and rayon blend. You can put those in the washing machine and use them over and over.
Grout will get grey over time and professional grout cleaning is very expensive. You can do it yourself with some Kaboom and a grout brush. Just spray on the Kaboom to the grout surface and brush away the dirty. The results are professional looking.
